Your choice of 2, 5, or 10GB of 4G LTE data each month—no more overpaying for data you don't use.
Some carriers charge for this. We think that's lame. Ours is included free and comes in selectable standard, micro and nano sizes.
Yup, we're coast to coast on the nation's fastest, most-advanced network (i.e. it's legit).
Is it hot in here, or is it just us? Oh, it's both because we let you turn your device into a WiFi hotspot.
Been using Mint Mobile for about 3 months and it's been flawless. We had some issues unlocking our old phones from AT&T but that was NOT Mint's fault. I only mention it because you need to make sure your phone is not carrier locked as so many phones are and there's nothing Mint can do about that. I was on AT&T for about 12 years and there's no difference with service, other than it's a hell of a lot cheaper. Best part of switching was calling AT&T to cancel, they tried to talk me out of it but couldn't get anywhere near the price so they had no leg to stand on. Great product, I can't recommend it enough.
Holy Mackerel! So you're telling me that I can have unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, 10GB of LTE data per month, and unlimited 2G data for $300 per year ($25/month)?! Wow That's a pretty good deal.
I was skeptical after reading some of these reviews but I figured for $45, I'll give it a try. Really my only complaint is that it took 3 days to port my phone number. Since then I've had no issues. I carry a work phone that's on the ATT network and every place that Att has service I also had Mint service. I really don't notice any difference between my IPhone on ATT or my IPhone on Mint. The only difference is the price. I do live in a big city but I travel all over the state of NC and the places that Mint did not get service, either did ATT. It's not only worth if for the price it's actually really good service.
Looks like I went to COSTCO or BJ's. The more months you buy (12) the less you pay. After enrollment the monthly plan is a SHOCKER!?! Service works very well in covered areas. Study the map well for residence calling as well as for eventual trips outside the residence area before getting in the plan. New York City is perfectly covered. If all is as expected the whole deal makes a wonderful purchase On signing up attention has to be paid to transferring a previous number. If Mint assigns a new number the option for the transfer of a previous one will be lost. Features are strictly related to the phone owned or purchased. New models give more features that Mint will activate. Just hope that plans will stay in time, reasonably low - as promised. Enjoy the $300 yearly plan (10 GB/month), unheard of at any other competitor!?!
Echoing other reviewers, our experience with Mint has been excellent. We switched from Republic Wireless during Mint's promo, and we have had no issues (so about 3 months of use as of now)! My wife and I both have unlocked phones (iPhone SE for her and Moto G4 Plus for me), and setting things up with Mint was no sweat. As noted by other reviewers, Mint doesn't do any hand holding on setting up your tech, but their website has all of the explanations you need to get rolling. And once you do, you'll be super thankful that they are helping you save a boat load on your wireless service. Thanks, Mint!
I purchased Mint service after having been a longtime loyalist to Verizon Wireless (both postpaid, and later, prepaid). The amount of money I save each month with Mint is astronomical. Originally I had paid about $500/yr for a 3GB data monthly allowance and unlimited calling and messaging, now I pay about $190/yr for a 2GB data monthly allowance and unlimited calling and messaging.
I bought the 7 day trial for $5 from Amazon to see what the coverage was like where I live and work, I travelled to many cities in Los Angeles County and Orange County for work that week and the coverage was great almost everywhere. Once my 7 day trial was about to run out I signed up for the 3 month trial ($15/month) and got the $5 back that I had spent on the first trial! I am now in the middle of my 3 month trial and am just as happy as I was on day one, even my husband was so impressed by the coverage and price that he decided to end his plan with Verizon and now he's a Mint customer as well, and just as satisfied with the service as I am. If everything continues to work as great as it has this far, both me and hubby will sign up for the 12 month plan (for $15/month) once our 3 month trials are up. I highly recommend Mint to those who live in LA/OC (I don't know what the coverage is like in other parts of the country) and want to get the cheapest deal out there, it's so worth it. The only minus I can think of is that the activation of the SIM card was a little bit on the difficult side, and neither me nor hubby got the text message that would automatically set the settings for us, so we had to do it all manually. It worked fine still as there were clear directions in the Mint app, but it was still an unnecessary pain in the butt. Other than that I have zero complaints. We haven't ported any numbers so can't say anything about that, we kept the numbers we got with our $5 trials.
I love Mint. I am from Canada and in Arizona for the winter months and needed some cell service. After doing a lot of research I found Mint to be the best and most economic service. I love their fun website with great information and videos on how to get my cell phone set up and use their service. The service in my area (Tucson) is just great and I have not had any troubles at all. I will definitely use this service every year that I come to the United Sates. Thanks Mint!
I get the same quality of service from one of the big cell phone companies at a fraction of the cost. Set-up was super-easy and any questions I've asked the company have been answered quickly and courteously. No complaints, happy customer!
