In order to transfer your number to Mint, you need a Mint Mobile. Duh.

While your Mint Mobile is in transit, gather the following information from your current carrier:
Name, address, and account number on your phone bill
Port out PIN/password if you plan to keep your current number*
*Don’t cancel your existing service just yet, your old account must be active at the start of the port
Once your Mint Mobile has arrived, go to our ACTIVATION PAGE to start activating.
After you enter the activation code, select “Port My Number”. You will then be asked to enter the information from Step 2.
Phone number transfer can take up to 24 hours to complete, but most ported numbers are fully activated within 8 hours. Check back periodically for an updated status. You will receive a text message notification once your number is active on Mint Mobile’s network.
Once you receive a text message notification alerting you that your number has ported, you’re ready to begin using your new Mint Mobile!
