Can I keep my number?

Yes, you can keep your number when you join Mint. To transfer your current phone number, simply select the option ‘Transfer My Number’ during activation. Unfortunately, once a plan is activated, we can’t transfer your number, so make sure you do it at activation.

We suggest prepping before activation as you’ll need some information from your old carrier:

  • Your current account number. This can be found on your billing statement, or just hit them up to get it
  • The corresponding password, pass code or PIN code number.
  • The billing address associated with the account.

Note: your phone number may take up to 48 hours to complete and landlines can take up to 5 business days. If you have any questions regarding your transfer, email support@mintmobile.com. Once the number has been successfully transferred, we’ll send you an SMS and confirmation email. Aight?

FYI, Mint does not charge a fee for transferring your number, but your less-cool, old school carrier might.
