Mint Mobile Return Policy
This Return Policy applies for purchases made directly from mintmobile.com. For Mint Mobile purchases made from an authorized third-party retailer (for example, Target, Amazon, Costco, Best Buy, etc.), see the individual authorized retailer's return policies applicable to your purchase. For purchases from mintmobile.com, you may request a refund and cancel your new Mint Mobile service activation for any reason within the applicable time frame below, depending on the product and/or service purchased.
For Mint Mobile Wireless Service Plans. Refund and cancellation requests can be made for any reason within seven (7) calendar days of activation. The full purchase price and any associated taxes and fees will be refunded, provided that: (i) the Mint Mobile purchase was made directly from mintmobile.com; and (ii) the refund request form (located on this page) was successfully completed. You are not required to physically return the SIM kit in order to cancel your new service activation.
For Phone(s), SIM Kits, and Accessory Returns. Refund requests and/or requests for replacement of any phone, SIM Kit, or accessory purchased directly from mintmobile.com can be made for any reason, other than for the issues listed below, within seven (7) calendar days of the original delivery date. Once you have initiated your refund and/or replacement request within the required 7-day window and have received approval for the return or replacement request, you must ship the item back to us in “like-new” condition (as described below), within fifteen (15) days of your refund and/or replacement request approval date. Any claims for damage, delivery discrepancies, or other issues must be made within three (3) business days (adjusted for holidays) of the original delivery date; claims made after three (3) business days of the original delivery date will be declined and not accepted. Further information about returning damaged goods upon receipt and returning non-damaged/non-defective phones are detailed further below
For Mint Mobile Starter Kits. At any time during your Mint Starter Kit Trial, you may either: (i) convert to a full Mint Mobile service plan and receive $5.00 off your selected Mint Mobile service plan; or (ii) request a full $5.00 refund by filling out the form on this page or by calling a Mint Customer Care agent at 800-683-7392. Your Mint Starter Kit Trial SIM cards will be deactivated after approval of your refund, which will be processed within seven (7) calendar days. Mint Mobile will only issue refunds for purchases of the Mint Starter Kit Trial made through the Mint Mobile app or requested directly from mintmobile.com. The Mint Starter Kit Trial offer is subject to change. Visit mintmobile.com/free for all other terms and conditions of service.
GOODS DAMAGED UPON RECEIPT
If your goods arrived damaged, please select ‘Device received damaged’ in the ‘Reason for return?’ dropdown within the refund request form on this page. Claims for damage, delivery discrepancy etc. should be made within three (3) business days (adjusted for holidays) of the original delivery date. Any applicable return shipping costs will be covered.
NON-DAMAGED AND NON-DEFECTIVE PHONES
If the returned phone is NOT defective, you may return it for any reason within seven (7) calendar days from the original delivery date. In order to receive a full refund of the purchase price and any associated taxes and fees, minus shipping and handling, the following conditions must be met:
All returned merchandise is in its original, unopened packaging, with complete original manufacturer's packaging, same condition as sold, with all literature, accessories, instructions, blank warranty cards and documentation.
The phone is returned in "Like-New Condition," a determination we will make in our sole discretion based on the following (non-exhaustive) requirements: no signs of use; shows less than 25 minutes in total talk time; undamaged; unlocked; contains all original packaging, documentation, and accessories; etc. For avoidance of doubt, we may determine the phone is NOT “Like-New” in our sole discretion for any of the above reasons or for any other reason.
The phone must not be “locked” by a passcode, pattern or PIN (we recommend you perform a factory reset prior to returning the phone as refunds cannot be processed unless the phone is received in an unlocked state).
The phone was purchased directly from mintmobile.com.
Returns must be accompanied by a Return Authorization Number written on the outside return package. You will be emailed a Return label with a unique Return Authorization Number once your return has been authorized.

You will receive a Return Authorization email with your Return Authorization Number once your return request is approved. In most instances, you will receive a Return Authorization # via email within 24 hours of normal business hours (i.e., non-holidays) with a Return Authorization # and instructions to process your request.
If we determine, in our sole discretion, the phone is NOT in "Like-New Condition" (for example, without limitation, because the device shows signs of use; the device shows more than 25 minutes of total talk time; the device is damaged; the device is locked and/or inaccessible; there is missing packaging, documentation, or accessories; etc.), we may either refuse the return or you may be required to pay a restocking fee based on the Device Full Retail Price (“FRP”) as follows: $70 for devices with a FRP of $600 or more; $40 for devices with a FRP between $300-$599; and $20 for devices with a FRP of less than $300.
You will receive notification within five (5) business days of the receipt of the disposition of your refund request.

In certain cases outside of our control, your phone may only be exchanged with an equivalent product (in our sole discretion) if we are unable to supply the same item or if the item cannot be repaired.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
Any return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer. All shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. We will charge a minimum $9.99 shipping and handling fee up to the actual shipping amount paid on your order and not to include promotional coupons. Refused and unaccepted packages are also subject to a $25.00 handling fee.
