This Mint Mobile, LLC, (“Mint Mobile,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides wireless services that may be used by a Child or Children (anyone under the age of majority in their state of residence) through accounts established by a parent or legal guardian. Mint Mobile does not knowingly provide wireless services to Children or collect personal information from a Child without the consent of the Child’s parent or legal guardian. This Children’s Privacy Notice (“Notice”) explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with a Child’s use of Mint Mobile services when Mint Mobile has actual knowledge that a Child is using the service.
This Notice supplements our Privacy Notice, available at Privacy Policy | Mint Mobile, which describes our broader data practices, and the Mint Mobile Plan Terms & Conditions, available at Terms & Conditions | Mint Mobile. If there is a conflict, the terms providing greater protections for Children’s information will control.
Information We Collect About Children
Mint Mobile does not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from or about Children without the permission of their parent or guardian. With that permission, Mint Mobile may collect personal information from or about a Child directly when a parent or guardian activates a line or any other mobile wireless service on behalf of a Child. We might also collect data automatically if a Child uses the products or services we offer, as authorized by the parent or guardian.
We use Children’s personal information to fulfill the purposes described in this notice, including providing wireless services, maintaining the Child’s account or line, improving our products and services, monitoring and protecting the security of our network and services, complying with legal obligations or responding to lawful requests, and additional purposes set forth below.
We generally do not enable Children to make personal data publicly available, but they can call and send messages to others when using mobile devices.
Generally, Mint Mobile retains Children’s personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services and fulfill the purposes described in this Notice, unless a longer retention period is required by law. When children’s information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize the information.

Our policy is to retain call detail records for the duration of the service relationship and for 60 days after a Child’s account is terminated. Other usage information may be retained for the duration of the service relationship and for one year after a Child’s account is terminated unless a longer retention period is necessary for operational, billing, regulatory, or business recordkeeping purposes or as required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to provide the service. Our wireless services are provided using the network of an underlying mobile network operator and may involve other service providers, as described below.

Verifiable Parental Consent
Before collecting personal information from a Child, Mint Mobile requires verifiable parental consent.
This consent confirms that a parent or legal guardian authorizes Mint Mobile to collect, use, and disclose the Child’s information as described in this Notice. In accordance with federal regulations, we will require you to provide us with your credit card information and authorize us to make a nominal charge that will appear on your credit card statement, to verify that you have provided this consent.
Parents may revoke their consent at any time by contacting Mint Mobile customer support at (800) 683-7329. If consent is withdrawn, we may terminate the associated service and delete the Child’s information in accordance with the terms of this Notice, subject to legal or business retention obligations.
If consent is not provided within a reasonable time after we request it, we will delete the parent’s contact information and will not activate the Child’s account.
Parental Rights and Choices
Parents and legal guardians have the following choices regarding their Child’s personal information:
A parent or guardian may revoke their consent at any time, resulting in termination of the Child’s service, by contacting Mint Customer Service at: (800) 683-7329. If consent is revoked, Mint Mobile may delete the information except where retention is required for legal, regulatory, or business purposes. In the case of wireless services (e.g., Mint Kids Plan) we provide, the only way for us to stop a Child’s data from being collected will be to shut down the associated Child’s phone line. We also will instruct third parties who may have access to this data to delete the data although in some cases deletion of this data may be subject to those third parties’ own data retention policies which may differ from ours.
Changes to This Children’s Privacy Notice
We may update this Children’s Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.
