How do I check my number transfer status?

It’s important to note most number transfers take just a few minutes, but some can take longer to complete.

How can I check my number transfer status?

To check your number transfer status after initiating a number transfer request, simply open the Mint Mobile app and the screen will show the current status. 

If you exit the Mint Mobile app and then return to it, you’ll see the same message.

How do I know if the number transfer was successful?

As soon as the number transfer is completed, you’ll see a message on the app screen that says your number was successfully transferred. You’ll also receive a confirmation email letting you know that your number was successfully transferred.

What happens if the number transfer fails?

If the number transfer fails, this may mean you entered the wrong information. You will see a message on your screen that lets you know your number transfer request could not be completed.

You can either:

  • Submit the number transfer again
  • Update your account details

Note: If your number transfer fails, ensure the information you provided is accurate. Remember, number transfer PINs you get from certain carriers may expire if the process isn’t completed promptly. If this happens, you should reach out to your current carrier and request another one.

Also, the app won’t specify what’s wrong with the number transfer request, so that’s why it’s good to double check that your information is accurate.
