Make sure you don’t miss out on Mint Mobile emails

Do you ever get curious and go into your spam folder just to see what kind of absurd emails are being sent to you? And then you notice one in there from a trusted source that you actually would’ve liked to read? It happens to all of us. Spam filters can only do so much on their own, but it’s your input that helps them weed out the true junk without hiding any messages of value. So what can you do to make sure Mint Mobile’s emails get to you successfully? Let’s explore your email settings.

Add Mint Mobile to your contact list

The easiest and most effective way to ensure you get all of our emails is to have us in your contact list, because then your email account will assume if you like us enough to have us in there you must want to receive our messages. Follow the steps below based on your email server to add us to your contact list.

Gmail.com

  • Open an email from Mint Mobile and hover your cursor over our name & address, where it says Mint Mobile <noreply@email.mintmobile.com>
    • If you’re on mobile, tap the circle to the left of our name & address
  • A small menu will pop up with a button featuring a silhouette and a plus sign
  • Click this plus sign button and…that’s it. Now we’re one of your contacts

Yahoo.com

  • Open an email from Mint Mobile and hover your cursor over our name & address, where it says Mint Mobile <noreply@email.mintmobile.com>
    • If you’re on mobile, tap the circle to the left of our name & address
  • Select “Add to contacts” from the menu that appears
  • Click “Save” and…that’s it. Now we’re one of your contacts

Outlook.com

  • Open an email from Mint Mobile and hover your cursor over our name & address, where it says Mint Mobile <noreply@email.mintmobile.com>
  • A small menu will pop up with three dots in the bottom right corner
  • Click on those three dots and select “Add to contacts.” Boom

Microsoft Outlook (the desktop email program)

  • Open an email from Mint Mobile and click the button with the little silhouette and red circle on it (right next to the Delete button)
  • Click on “Never block sender” from the menu and you’re all set

Make sure Gmail puts our emails in your Primary inbox

Gmail also splits up your emails among a few different inboxes according to their presumed importance. This is a very handy feature, but it tends to send any brand messages to the Promotions inbox. This results in you not receiving push notifications for these messages and they get buried under other emails telling you about upcoming sales and stuff. Luckily, this is just as easy to fix as the contact stuff we covered earlier.

Using Gmail on a computer

  • Go into your “Promotions” tab and scroll down to an email from Mint Mobile
  • Drag that email over to your “Primary” inbox tab and drop it there
  • A message will pop up at the bottom of your screen asking if you’d like all future messages from us to end up in the “Primary” tab. Click “Yes”

Using Gmail on a phone

  • Go into your “Promotions” inbox and open an email from Mint Mobile
  • Tap the three dots in the top right corner and select “Move to” from the menu
  • Select “Primary” to move our email to your Primary inbox

Is that it?

Yeah, pretty much. If you’re using a different email provider than the ones mentioned in this blog, the steps are likely pretty similar. If you open an email from Mint Mobile in your spam folder, there should be an option to mark it as “not spam.” This is one step you can take, but your best bet is to add us to your contact list as well.

Now you won’t miss out on any account renewal updates, valuable promotions, or network changes – you know, the important stuff.
