How do I login to my Home MINTernet account?

Heads up, this article is for Home MINTernet. If you’re looking to change your phone plan password, view these instructions.

When you sign up for Home MINTernet, a username is automatically generated for you that you can use to log in to your account and create a password. Once you’ve completed these initial steps, you’ll be able to change your username and password in the Mint Mobile app or in your account online. 

Logging in for the first time 

When you purchase Home MINTernet service, you receive an email providing you with an autogenerated username. This email is separate from your order confirmation, so keep an eye out and be sure to save it. You’ll need it to access and set up your account. Here’s what to do when you log in for the first time:

1. Download the Mint Mobile app or login to My Account at my.mintmobile.com/login
2. From the Home MINTernet login screen, select Need help logging in? and click Forgot password
3. You will be asked to enter one of the following:
   • The username that was emailed to you
   • Your Home MINTernet line number
     • This can be found on your gateway device’s screen
   • Your Mint Mobile phone number (if you also have a wireless plan with us)
4. Follow the prompts to create your password and access your account

Updating your username or password via the Mint Mobile app

1. Log in to your Home MINTernet account through the Mint Mobile app
2. From the navigation bar, go to Account and select My Details
3. Click on Username, enter your new username, and tap Update Username
4. Then, go to Security and select Change Account Password
5. Enter your new password and tap Update Password

Updating your username or password via your account online

1. Log in to your Home MINTernet account at my.mintmobile.com/login
2. In the left navigation bar, go to My Account and click on My Profile & Security
3. Under the Security section, you’ll see options to change both your account username and password.
4. To update your username, enter your new username and click Update Username
5. To update your password, enter your new password and click Update Password
