How do I manage my Home MINTernet account?

The best way to manage your account is within the Mint Mobile app or within account management on the Mint Mobile website. When you’re on the login screen, select Home MINTernet and type in your username and password. Logging in for the first time? Check out these instructions for setting up your username and password. 

Now, here’s everything you can do within account management:

My Plan Section

  • Manage My Plan
    • This is where you can change your plan length for your next renewal and view our broadband labels. 

Account

  • My details 
    • Here you can edit your first and last name, email address, account username and service mailing address.

Security

  • Change account password 
    • Here you can change your account password.

Wi-Fi

  • Wi-Fi Settings
    • Once you’re connected to Wi-Fi, you’ll be able to update your network name and password here. Note: This is only possible from the app. 

Gateway

  • Update gateway admin password
    • Here you can change your gateway’s admin password. The default password is printed on your 5G gateway device.
  • Set-up & support
  • Help center
    • This links you to our Help Center to find Home MINTernet troubleshooting tips, contact customer service, and more.
  • Activate replacement device
    • If you have a replacement 5g gateway device, this is where you can activate it.  

Payment

  • Payment method
    • Here you can check what card you have on file or to update it. 
  • Transaction history 
    • Here you can view your plan payments. 

Other 

  • Communication preferences
    • Update your preferred method of communication from us, choosing from email or texts. Note: You can only select push texts through the app.

Do I need to link my Home MINTernet and phone plan accounts, and what does linking them do?

Yes. Home MINTernet and phone plan accounts aren’t automatically linked. Linking them ensures your discount is applied at renewal and lets you easily switch between your phone plan and Home MINTernet account management screens. Once linked, you can toggle back and forth by finding the Switch to Phone Plan or Switch to Home MINTernet button in either the top left or right corner, depending on if you’re on the app or website. 

Here’s how to link your accounts:

  1. Log in to your Home MINTernet account via the Mint app or website.
  2. On the home screen, you should see a banner prompting you to link your accounts. Select Link Accounts.
  3. Next, we’ll verify your account by sending you a text. Input your phone number and select Send Code.
  4. Your phone should receive a code. Enter code then select Continue. A message will appear that your accounts are linked.
