2. If you’re bringing your own phone, make sure it’s compatible with Mint Mobile 

Most unlocked phones are compatible with our network. An “unlocked” phone isn’t tethered to any specific carrier’s network, so it can be used with multiple wireless providers. Your phone also needs to support 5G·4G LTE and be VoLTE-compatible. Unlocked phones that were recently used with AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Simple Mobile, Straight Talk, etc should all work with Mint Mobile. And if your phone supports eSIM, that’s even better. With eSIM, you can activate in minutes without having to wait for a new Mint Mobile SIM card to be shipped to you.
